Request for an IU Transcript
A transcript is a comprehensive record of a student's academic performance as recorded by the faculty, including ACP instructors. Enrollment in an Advance College Project (ACP) course establishes an official Indiana University (IU) transcript. If a student will be attending any of the IU campuses, there is nothing that he or she need to do to assure that ACP courses are applied at IU. (It is always a good idea to check that all credits and grades are properly recorded once the IU student has OneStart access on campus.) However, if a student plans to attend another college or university, he or she will need to have the transcript sent to the institution.
To help each ACP student order a transcript, the ACP office will send a Transcript Request Form with a letter of instruction in May of the senior year in high school. By mailing the transcript request form (with a check or money order for the transcript fee), students may have a transcript sent to the addresses of their choice. The student may request a transcript be sent home and/or to the college or university he or she anticipates attending. Most universities and colleges require or prefer that official transcripts be mailed directly to them from the Registrar's office.
Note:
ACP students planning to enroll at one of the Indiana University campuses do not need to request a transcript. Only the student can request a copy of his or her own transcript. Official transcripts can be requested through the Office of the Registrar at the selected IU campuses in person, by mail, or by fax. The Office of the Registrar will not respond to transcript requests through e-mails or phone calls because there are forms, signatures, and fees involved in the release process.*
Students may request a transcript from any campus. Fees vary by campus. For instructions on how to order a student transcript from the Registrar's office, see:

Please do not request copies of the transcript until the final grade for the course is recorded (generally after June 30). The transcript fees are not refundable if the transcript is ordered before grades are reported. Also, all IU courses will appear on one transcript. Students do not need to order a transcript at the end of every semester in which they take an ACP course. Order a transcript only when all ACP coursework is complete.

* A U.S. Social Security number or IU student identification number is required for the order to be processed. Students who do not supply a U.S. Social Security number when filling out the application for ACP courses must be advised to keep a record of the student identification number assigned to them by IU. The student indentification numbers will appear on the audit and grade rosters and Coursework Completed Letters that teachers receive during the semester in which the course is taken.
