Registration Process

ACP Registration Process for IU Bloomington

Registering for Fall Semester Courses (includes ACP courses in the high school that may begin Aug. - Dec.)

  1. Student applications to the ACP program are submitted in April.
  2. Students will receive a confirmation letter from ACP outlining acceptance or denial based on their cumulative high school GPA (this should arrive in late May - early June).
  3. Students will actually "register" for their specific ACP courses during the Fall semester.
  4. Students will receive a tuition bill* for the course(s) from the IU Office of the Bursar, and be able to check their bill and enrollment information in late October (using IU's OneStart portal - instructions for using this system will be provided in the fall).

*Counselors, teachers, parents and students should refer to the Tuition Rate Schedule for information about the current ACP rate and tuition for each ACP course.

ACP Registration Process for IU East

Registering for Fall Semester Courses (includes ACP courses in the high school that may begin Aug. - Dec.)

  1. Student applications are submitted in August/September.
  2. The tuition must be included with the student's ACP application.
  3. The check or money order is made payable to Indiana University.
  4. The student's name and and Indiana University ID (if known) should appear on the check or money order.
  5. IU East students/parents may pay by credit card. The total amount charged to the credit card must include the total tuition for the semester's ACP courses.

Registering for Spring Semester Courses (includes ACP courses in the high school that may begin Jan. - June.)

  1. Student applications are submitted in December/January.
  2. The tuition must be included with the student's ACP application.
  3. The check or money order is made payable to Indiana University.
  4. The student's name and Indiana University ID (if known) should appear on the check or money order.
  5. Call the Bursar at IU East (765) 923-8332 for all alternative payments.

ACP Registration Process for IU Kokomo

Registering for Fall Semester Courses (includes ACP courses in the high school that may begin Aug. - Dec.)

  1. For schools registering through IU Kokomo, student applications are submitted in April for the coming Fall or first semester courses of the academic year and then are billed in July from the IU Kokomo Office of the Bursar.
  2. If there is a change in plan, a student may submit his or her application during the first couple of days of school in August.

Registering for Spring Semester Courses (includes ACP courses in the high school that may begin Jan. - June.)

  1. Student applications are submitted in early November for Spring or second semester and then are billed in December from the IU Kokomo Office of the Bursar.

ACP Registration Process for IU Northwest

Registering for Fall Semester Courses (includes ACP courses in the high school that may begin Aug. - Dec.)

  1. For schools registering through IU Northwest, student applications are submitted in April for the coming Fall courses and then are billed in July from the IU Northwest Office of the Bursar for the course tuition.
  2. Students may submit applications in August but any student applications submitted after July for Fall semester courses must have the tuition attached to the application or provide credit card information.
  3. Parents write one check that includes the total amount for the course tuition for the Fall term.
  4. The student's name and Indiana University ID (if known) should appear on the check or money order.

Registering for Spring Semester Courses (includes ACP courses in the high school that may begin Jan. - June.)

  1. Student applications are submitted in November for Spring courses and then are billed from the IU Northwest Office of the Bursar.
  2. Any student applications submitted after November must have tuition included with the application or provide credit card information.
  3. One check or credit card charge includes the total amount of the tuition.
  4. The student's name and social security number (if supplied on the application) should appear on the check or money order.
  5. A credit card payment form is included with the application materials.

ACP Registration Process for IU South Bend

Students submitting applications in April (for Fall semester) and November (for Spring semester) will be billed in July for Fall courses and November for Spring courses.  Payment options include check, money order, and credit card.
